Joha rice is also known as winter rice, Jaha rice or mi Jaha which has medium GI. Joha is a variety of rice grown in India, notable for its aroma, delicate and excellent taste. Assam is the largest cultivator of this rice, it is primarily grown through paddy field farming. It has a characteristic sweet aroma and a lingering trail of popcorn-like scent.
An extraordinary class of scented rice, it is totally not the same as the popular Basmati rice. It has a sensitive texture and contains high quantities of antioxidants.
